Well hello there interntets!

Sorry about the absence there. It was the end of the school year (still going for some) and we were all caught up with scholarly things, so we kinda missed out on an April contest. Sorry about that We’re hoping to make it up to you by trying something new! Word on the street is… you like video games!

At the risk of alienating console fanboys (and girls) and non FPS gamers, we were hoping to organize… an ExC Halo 3 Multiplayer Extravaganza! Yes folks, school will be out soon, and we all need a way to relax! So if you like games, and you like expansion, join up with us for some community fun!

As of yet, we do not have a date or time nailed down for when we want to hold the event. Please check out our poll here to vote for when you would be able to participate. We’re hoping to make this available for as many of you as possible, all around the globe, so let’s all work together to find the best time!

We also need to know which of the Halo 3 Map Packs you have, in order to organize what we’ll eventually play. You can let us know through either a vote through this poll . Hopefully we can come up with a nice set of games to play. Also, if you have any custom gametypes or maps you would like to suggest, send us a note!

Rules:

The idea is simple. Get a bunch of expansion fetishists in a room together… and we all shoot each other!

The requirements to participate would be:

A) an Xbox 360

B) Halo 3

C) an Xbox Live gold account

-- If you’d like to participate, you need to note the Expansion Chat Club page (AKA: this page) with your Xbox Live Gamertag to confirm that you would like to join up.

-- If you already have a slot and can’t participate, please tell us! That way we can let someone else join in.

And that’s it! Our intent here is to bring the community together through yet another medium. And to have fun!

The total number of slots available for Halo 3 multiplayer games is 16. With our mods participating, that leaves only 13 slots. We have no way to hold a slot unless you can make sure that you’ll be available for the (yet undetermined) play time!
